Devon Rex cats in the media

Devon Rexes are wonderful cats, which we say and write more than once. More and more of them are also appearing in interesting media materials.

On this page we want to gather a few interesting materials (it will be updated if something new and interesting comes up) about our breed. Here you'll find recordings (from traditional and online media) in which the subject of Devon Rexes appeared and where our cattery also featured!

2025.04.29 – A home without a cat is folly (ep. 4)

The series „A home without a cat is folly” is an original project and idea of Roman Grabara* and Rafał Lewandowski. It has been placed under the patronage of the Polish Felinological Federation Felis Polonia.

4 episodes have already appeared, including precisely the fourth one dedicated to Devon Rexes (published on 29 April 2025). In the series breeders and judges appear, and it was created with breeders and cat lovers in mind, as well as a message, with historical elements, for future generations of breeders and exhibitors.

* Roman Grabara was a former breeder of over 25 years, of Norwegian Forest cats (Karodok*PL cattery). A hobby historian of Polish felinology, author of „cat” stories. Since 1992 a member of Polish felinological associations affiliated with FIFe. For many years a host of pedigree cat shows and other events in the world of felinology. He richly enhances these events with expert knowledge and interesting facts, weaving in stories about Polish breeding tradition.

2025.03.13 – Felinotherapy with Devon Rex on Dzień Dobry TVN

On 13 March 2025 we had the enormous pleasure of appearing on a well-known TVN breakfast television programme, namely Dzień Dobry TVN. The show's hosts were Dorota Wellman and Marcin Prokop.

And the program featured Paulina Sztuka, who is a psychologist and a cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist, and additionally the wonderful mother of our Heweliusz. We were of course there too (Mariusz), together with Amber and our litter I.

In the program we talked about felinotherapy and certain aspects of the Devon Rex breed, which make them cats that can be ideal for this form of therapy. Additionally we tried to showcase the Devon Rex breed.
